Mission: Recognizing the diverse needs of the community it serves, the Lanark Public Library shall actively provide access to informational, educational, cultural, recreational materials and programs, in order to promote an informed citizenship, enrich personal lives and improve quality of leisure time.

Operated by Norman & Ingrid Standish. It is a museum of Pilgrim History with original paintings and antiques, and includes an extensive library on Pilgrim History. Norman is a direct descendant of Pilgrims - Myles Standish and others.. Myles Standish came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.
